Read your Ledger: every redemption and refund in one list

The Ledger is the record of every offer redeemed or refunded at any of your registers. It’s where you check a transaction, settle a question at the till, and see how much extra your offers brought in.

Open it

Go to Manage Integrations > Wallet POS > Ledger, choose the dates under Show Activity Between, and click Apply. Export downloads the same list for your records or your accountant.

What each column means

Column What it tells you
Date, Time When the transaction happened.
Transaction ID The reference for this transaction. A refund carries the same ID as the redemption it reverses.
Register ID, Register Type Which till or terminal it happened at (for example a Web Terminal, or a connected POS).
Transaction Redemption or Refund (refunds are highlighted).
Perk The value of the offer that was applied.
Check The customer’s bill.
Claimed How much of the bill the offer covered.
Balance What was left for the customer to pay with cash or card.
Payment Type Which kind of offer it was: Static Voucher, Dynamic Voucher, Merchant Credit, Membership Points, and so on.
Meta Data Extra detail some offers carry, such as a dynamic voucher’s code.
Payment View shows more detail about the transaction.

Good to know

The Balance column is your “extra revenue”. It’s the part of each bill the customer paid on top of the offer. Your dashboard’s Additional Revenue figure adds these up, so it’s a direct measure of what your offers brought in.

A refund appears as its own row, with negative amounts and the same Transaction ID as the redemption it reverses, so both stay on the record.

Refunds start at the terminal. To refund a redemption made on the Web Terminal, use History on the Web Terminal page. See Redeem offers at the counter.

Why it matters

One list settles every question. “Did that voucher go through?”, “What did the bar redeem last Friday?”, “Are our offers paying for themselves?” The Ledger answers all three, and Export hands the same answer to your bookkeeper.
